Didier Bruneau

Global Supply Chain Director, Plastic Omnium Plastic Omnium

Didier leads the Global Supply Chain of the Business Group Exterior & Lighting at OPmobility (70 plants, 5bn turnover, 28000 employees). His team covers the end-to-end supply chain and supports the plants to reach their targeted performance. They develop, implement and improve standard processes and tools towards an efficient, resilient, agile & green supply chain. The company has been engaged in a digital transformation path, and will support programmes which bring value. Priorities are: implementing a TMS (Transport Management System), a detailed production scheduling software, a S&OP digital solution, a supply chain visibility digital solution and a supply risk sensing. This is on top of running investments in internal logistics (AGV, AMR, automated conveyors). Since joining OPmobility 2 years ago, the main supply chain transformation project has been the implementation of internal transport management capabilities starting with strategic planning (network design). It has focused on creating a dedicated team, developing new processes and implementing new tools. What the company considers as a pilot phase has quickly brought significant freight costs savings & CO2 emission reduction. This has convinced top management to move forward with a Group programme to implement a Group TMS with regional control towers.
